CREDAF organised a webinar on \u00ab\u00a0Taxation of the digital economy: issues related to the application of new international tax rules\u00a0\u00bb, on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 December 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Paris time).<\/p>\n
About forty participants from fifteen CREDAF member countries attended the meeting. As a reminder, the main objective of this webinar was to initiate reflection on the issues related to the practical implementation of the new international tax rules on the taxation of the digital economy. In particular, it aimed to identify the difficulties that could arise and to propose solutions to avoid and\/or overcome them if necessary.<\/p>\n
After a review of the recent agreement on international taxation presented by the OECD experts, the discussions focused on the challenges related to the implementation of the agreement and on the technical assistance needs of developing countries, in particular those members of CREDAF.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
