From 7 to 10 June 2022, the 38th General Assembly and the 35th Annual Conference of CREDAF were held in Nantes (France). This meeting of CREDAF members marks the 40th anniversary of the association, which was founded in 1982.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The theme guiding the work of this annual conference was \u00ab\u00a0Data control and valorisation, a strategic fiscal issue<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0. A total of 91 participants representing 21 member countries and 1 associate member, as well as 12 regional and international organisations, foundations or development agencies took part in this important meeting.<\/p>\n

The conference began with an introductory plenary roundtable with Mr. Modeste Mopa, Director General of Taxes of Cameroon, Ms. Fatiha Gharbi, Director General of Taxes of Tunisia, Mr. J\u00e9r\u00f4me Fournel, Director General of Public Finance of France, Ms. Zayda Manatta, Head of the Secretariat of the OECD Global Forum for Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, and Mr. J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Pellet, Director General of Expertise France, as panelists.<\/p>\n

They then continued in thematic workshops on the following four topics :<\/p>\n
