The CREDAF has organised, on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 2:00pm (Paris time), a webinar on « Post-Covid-19 Taxation: collect more and foster the economic recovery ». The aim of this webinar was to initiate a global reflection on the issue of tax revenue mobilisation, in an environment of implementation of resilience and economic recovery measures, to face the health crisis consequences on economic and social activity.
More than 60 participants from 18 CREDAF member Tax administrations took part to the webinar. Beyond the answers within the competence of the contributing tax administrations from Algeria, Benin and Cameroon, this meeting was also the opportunity to discuss more merging aspects of macroeconomic and tax policy issues with the respective contributions from Mr Abdoulaye COULIBALY, Director at the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Mrs Emilie CALDEIRA, FERDI Expert.
